Location: Farnborough Office (Hybrid)

Salary: £27,000-£32,000, depending on the experience you bring

Job Brief

The purpose of this role is to support the Aegon Financial Planning proposition and Financial Planning Managers in the delivery of administration support across a range of financial products and services.

You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning Manager, and their customers, with the end-to-end processing of all new business applications, transactions, contributions and withdrawals upon the Aegon platforms.

You will have excellent planning and organisation skills, a professional and pleasant telephone manner, with strong administration skills, focused on delivering a client-centric experience to all Aegon Financial Planning customers.  Building a strong and personable working relationship with your Financial Planning Managers will be crucial.

You will need to be able to learn and apply your knowledge confidently and effectively whilst also being able to problem solve.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work as part of the New Business (AFP) Team to support the Aegon Financial Planning proposition.
  • Support Financial Planning Managers with all new business requests or queries, managing them in a timely manner
  • Support customers with new business requests or queries, managing them in a timely manner
  • Update systems to ensure accurate client data and information throughout the process
  • Maintain fully compliant customer files which record all activity and communication
  • Manage a pipeline of tasks, activities and workflow effectively to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with advisers, customers and third parties (professional connections/product providers etc) as part of your regular telephone, teams and occasional face to face contact
  • Participate in project related work, working as one team to meet company goals and targets
  • Provide support to your colleagues to reach team goals
