Origen Financial Services
As one of the UK’s leading financial planning firms, we’re proud to be a trusted partner to individuals, families, trustees and businesses across the country. Our highly qualified advisers support thousands of clients every year, helping them make confident financial decisions and plan for a secure future.
We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Proposition & Engagement Lead to shape and elevate Origen’s workplace pensions and retirement proposition. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our business – bringing together proposition design, member engagement, and content to create clear, compelling and differentiated experiences for both members and employers.
You’ll play a pivotal role in modernising how we engage audiences across DB and DC, translating complex retirement concepts into accessible, meaningful journeys that drive better outcomes. Working closely with advisers, marketing, digital and employer relationship teams, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to ensure our proposition is both commercially strong and genuinely impactful.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and evolution of Origen’s retirement education, guidance and advice proposition across DB and DC schemes
- Modernise presentations, workshops, drop-ins and adviser toolkits to ensure they are engaging, accessible and outcome-focused
- Develop modular, reusable content aligned across digital channels, live sessions, employer communications and adviser conversations
- Map and enhance end-to-end member journeys for key audiences (e.g. mid-career, pre-retirement, at-retirement)
- Play a leading role in employer tenders and RFP responses, shaping compelling and competitive submissions
- Partner with internal teams and third parties to ensure consistency of messaging, content and calls to action
- Support advisers, internal teams and clients in planning and delivering engagement activity and events (virtual and in-person)
- Ensure all activity aligns with regulatory requirements and governance standards
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Significant experience in UK workplace pensions, retirement or financial wellbeing, gained in areas such as financial advice, consulting, employee benefits or provider environments
- Strong knowledge of DB and DC schemes, retirement decision-making and member behaviours
- Proven experience developing engagement strategies, propositions or financial education content
- A track record of supporting or leading tender / RFP responses
- The ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messaging and content
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility across advisers and senior internal teams
- A commercial, pragmatic and hands-on approach, with the ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels
- Experience working in a regulated environment, with an understanding of FCA requirements
What’s in it for you?
- We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 6%.
- A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
- 27 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, income protection, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our employees live their best lives.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a retirement proposition, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver meaningful impact on member outcomes in a role that combines strategic ownership with hands-on delivery.
